Book now for February Half Term

Basingbourne Park, Fleet, 31st January 2026

Family Hygge Session – 31st January

9.30-11am

Children who are walking – 10 years old with a grownup or two.

As well as the normal forest school play with the slackline, hammocks, den building, bug hunting, a potions mixing area, nature craft and campfire cooking. We will also be joined by my friend Louise Brooks. Louise is an amazing and kind parent coach who is originally from Denmark.

I have fallen in love with all things Hygge after reading Meik Wiking’s book The Little Book Of Hygge.  Louise lives Hygge and after our camp fire and snack Ellie is going to lead a treasure hunt around the site while Louise shares for 10/15 minuets what Hygge is and how it can benefit our and our children’s lives when we include it’s essence it in our homes.

Come along, explore, play and get cosy in our lovely site. Fire snack and biscuits are included (weather dependant).

When children are given the space to explore in nature it helps them to build confidence, independence, and self-esteem. Forest school teaches the children to manage their play boundaries, evaluate risks and look out for each other.
